What is Build-a-Box?

Build-a-Box allows you to create your own gift box that is personalised to suit your gift recipient and your budget. 

Simply navigate to the Build-a-Box menu at the top of the home page. Here you can choose to "Shop All" and browse all available products or search via our different collections such as "For Her", "For Him', "New Baby" etc..

Always remember to add your gift box to your cart when using Build-a-Box. See the next FAQ for information about what box size to choose.

What sized gift box should I choose when using Build-a-Box?

We have three box sizes, small, medium and large. They are 250 x 250 x 100mm, 350 x 260 x 110 and 360 x 360 x 110mm. We can fit up to 5 medium sized items in a small box. For anything more then 5 items, or if you want to include a full sized bottle of wine or spirits, please choose a medium or large gift box.

I would like a specific ribbon colour please - can you do this?

We usually choose a ribbon colour from our collection to suit the theme and colour tones of your gift, however if you would like the box tied with a specific colour please specify this in the comments box on check out.

I would like my package delivered on a specific date please.

We can do our best to ensure that gifts are delivered on time however some courier delays are outside of our control. Please ensure you allow time for the standard courier service that takes 1-3 days.

We also have stickers that read "Please do not open until................." that we can include to ensure your gift recipient doesn't open their special gift early! Please let us know in the comments section on checkout if you would like to include this.

Can your courier service deliver on a Saturday?

Yes, however please contact us before placing your order to arrange this - there may also be an additional shipping cost.

Do you ship overseas?

Currently, we do not ship overseas.

Can I include a note with my giftbox?

Absolutely, our packaging includes a gift card to include a personalised handwritten note. There is a section at checkout to specify this.

My giftbox arrived and an item inside was damaged or faulty. What should I do?

If you receive a giftbox from us that contains a damaged or faulty item, please contact us within 72 hours on hello@givengiftbox.co.nz and include a photo of the damaged item.

Can you supply large corporate orders?

Absolutely! We regularly help corporate clients wanting to send out a large quantity of gift boxes. These can be from our pre-curated range or completely customised to suit your budget and requirements. Please get in touch with us hello@givengiftbox.co.nz
